Alright, should my few intake mods decrease my gas milage ??

I have a DIY bored MAF, urs4 VS, and a K&N panel filter. I was assuming that I would probably get a little better gas mileage with the mods. I was getting an average of around 23mpg before and now I'm getting 20-21. I know it's not a major difference, but I was just curious. Chances are I'm just having more fun now that my car is peppy and I can blame my right foot! Hehe, TIA...

Your mods allow more air to be drawn into your engine, the MAF reads this, and adds more fuel.

Hehe...actually, I just got back from a long trip and I got 25mpg along the way. I won't complain =)
