Default Do you mean exhaust manifolds?
If so, it's possible on C4s (I've done it, and it's NOT FUN), not sure about the B chassis...

He either means that or the coolant lines that go to the back of both heads and to the block.

If the coolant pipes, then the answer is also yes, at least on the C4.

Default It's anything but easy to get them out of a B4 without removing the heads...
even removing the heads, they are still a pain in the ***. Never mind getting them back on...
