Look closely - you can see it's stamped "Briggs and Stratton".

Actually, it looks like a carbon fiber pedestal ;-) MikTip: Do you know from which race it came?

Ferrari sells a lot of its used parts to earn the extra cash it needs to pay its costs (like M.S.'s $50 million/year salary).

I have heard that the parts come with certificates that indicate from which car/race/engine the parts come. Now that engines must last two races (instead of using three engines per race, i.e., practice, qualifying, and race), certificates will likely just indicate the car and the races.
