Gorilla biscuits
As a follow-up to a previous post, is there a lot of difference between after-market snub mounts and OEM?
And if so, any recomendations on who to go with?
I'd rather spend my money locally.
Know what I mean, Jellybean?

The OEM snub is a soft rubber mount...
It's soft to keep down vibrations, etc. However, this adds some slop to the drivetrain. After market ones are stiffer. I have a APR snub and don't have any problems with vibrations but you can feel the difference, even when shifting. If I had to do it all over again I would probably buy a AA Snub Mount but the APR would be my second choice. (The AA snub is *slightly* softer than the APR to absorb some vibrations that APR snub owners complained about) The AA mount is also cheaper than APR. Chances are if you have high miles that your OEM mount is torn. Might as well upgrade it if you're going to replace it.
