head gasket :'-(... what else can go wrong with this car?
So i let the car run for about 30-40 min. and all this time I'm getting white smoke out of exhaust and a small puddle of water behind it, step on the gas, and now i have a big puddle behind the dang car. this is the 3rd time time I've let the car fully hear up, so i know its not the vapors from the exhaust i think my head gasket went south, I'm going to check the spark plugs tomorrow and c how they look...
dose anyone have a good source to get a complete head gasket seat for this motor?
i swear, this motor just hates me!!!

Well, if you really wanna know...
When you take the head off you find a melted piston. When you take the crankshaft out you find the rear main journal is worn beyond acceptable tolerance... to name a few.
Of course that's the boat i'm in right now when I thought it was "just a head gasket"

"what else can go wrong with this car?" Well when you consider there's not a SINGLE part...
that CANNOT possibly go wrong, my guess is; maybe another 50,000-80,000 things. I mean how many nuts bolts, washers and wiring terminals etc can there be!?! Not many... you're almost there ;-)

contact Joe @ axismotorsport. Great guy, and will get you everything you need or tell you where you need to go if he can't help you out.
and catch me up to date here... this a new motor or what?

will, do, thank you:-) yep, its the one that i pulled out of a junk yard.
it dosnt feel like stumbling or misfires, but I'm just getting way too much water out of my muffler :-( I'm going to check the plugs latter tonight... and do a compression test on it again.

LOL, already went :-P
I found all the stuff that i need locally, it will be here on monday before 11am :-D about 250 for everything i need, Head Gasket Kit, head bolts, valve guide seals... about 250 for all of it, start tarring apart tomorrow night and hoping to have it done by the end of monday. Unless something goes wrong again... (knocking on my own head) Lets hope the heads are not warped. I also have a seat of brand new heads, what would i need to do to use the old cams? Or do i need to get new ones? Is there and aftermarket source for our cams?
