Default Hope everyone's families and Audi's survived the Hurricane OK.

Mine was safe in the garage. =) Luckily, in my neighborhood only a few tree branches down and some siding blew off my neighbor's house which I rescued.

Default Everything's fine here. I didn't notice a thing.

;0) Seriously though, I hope no one got hurt. All we have around here is tornadoes. We had like 15 this year.

Default I haven't heard from my buddy in Virginia...

Last thing I heard, he was getting ready to ride out Isabel (!). He stocked up on tape, candles, sandbags and Spaghetti-O's (8 cans he said). He also lives to the ocean and right next to the river. And no, I'm not kidding!

Default That sux. Hope he's alright & everything works out for him

There's a good chance that I'll be moving to the east coast when my wife gets orders to her first base. I'll have get prepared for hurricanes too. There's no way to prepare for a tornado, so we just let it come through & pray we live. I think that's the real reason this is called the bible belt.

Default Earthquakes are fun, too

I don't even blink unless it's bigger than a 3.5.

Default I doubt that

I can deal with earthquakes, at least the kind I've experienced. I feel I'm powerless against wind and water. In an earthqueke, you just have to watch that nothing falls on you. And fire is a risk, of course. Hurricanes, tornados, and flooding scare me much more.

PS: My buddy is okay. :-)
