Default Lowering my C4 100 1992 non-Quattro

I have some Weiteg Sport springs which I have be dying to install. Having trouble locating a shop to do it in the Seattle area. I do have a mechanic friend who has access to some spring compressors as well as some know how with lowering (at least domestic cars)
Any helpful hints on the "path of least resistance" in lowering my wonderful C4. Please assist. Pictures would be even better.

Thanks in advance.

Default make sure you put in shocks with those springs... or you're gonna be

pulling your suspension out twice.

I've never done a suspension install myself (had my mechanic do it) but I hear it's not too horrible... at least on the A4.
