M. What diameter were these flex hones?

I can't remember. But a simple measurement of the bore ID would tell you...
with flex-hones always use the "next larger" size flex-hone for whatever bore diameter you want to hone.
For instance:
if bore diameter is 7/8" or 15/16" then use a 1" diameter hone et al.
For instance:
if bore diameter is 7/8" or 15/16" then use a 1" diameter hone et al.

sorry it took me a while to respond, I have a few questions regarding how to measure the bore for a flex hone tool.
Do I take my measurement along the red, blue or white line?

blue= 42mm or 1.65 inches
red 29mm or 1.14 inches

W=37mm or 1.46inches
B=40mm or1.57 inches
R=25mm or .985 inches

W=48mm or 1.89 inches
B= 46mm or 1.81 inches
R= 31mm or 1.22 inches
