Default Good luck getting it out...

Good luck getting it out. My alarm (installed by BestBuy) had a hole in the firewall that let about 3" of water in my car in this last storm. To get that carpet out I had to pull the console, seats, airbag sensor, HVAC, center stereo unit...

WHAT A PAIN

Still dealing with insurance now.

Let me know where you find the carpet.

Default I filed a claim... (Phone# inside)

Call Best Buy Corporate 800-369-5050, they will file an insurance claim over the phone. You should get a call within 48hrs from a risck assesment agent at ESIS who will send out an adjust from a local insurance firm.

It took a while but they are doing it now. The store said they were filing the claim but never did. I have since called Best Buy, keyed through to sales and then asked to be tranfered to corporate. The risk assesment guy Jesse M. called me (after finding the number of a director on the ESIS web site and calling it 3 times). I should be getting a call from the local adjuster today to set up a meeting.

I have a waterlogged grey carpet for sale if you want it

Default Thanks for the info.. I wish mine was just water logged.... I had

a slow but steady leak, so when I didnt notice it right away it weakened the carpet, and my heal actually rubbed through.. I'll let you know what happens! Thanks again.
