Default Is this piston damaged? Pics inside

There is a small dimple on the very egde of the piston in cylinder one. I do not know if this dimple was already there or was caused by the bent valves. I did not see any immediate damage to the bottom of the valve. I would think to make a dimple this significant, there would be damage to the valve. Hopfully, the piston if fine and I can just replace the valves. I did not clean the piston or the walls. I just wiped it out with a paper napkin. The piston walls are smooth and shiney. There ws some oil in the cylinder. About a teaspoon worth. I think this was due to the bent vales and/or valve seals. Any info is appreciated.

Default How to post pics...

This forum is old, so no [IMG] tags. You need to use HTML to post multiple pics. Google "html img tag".

Thanks for your help. The dimple is right in the middle. Could be coincidence.

I dabbed out the small amount of oil. I'm worried about the dimple. Could be nothing.

That spot is the dimple. If I used a qtip to clean the rest of the oil out, you will see it.
