Hi I have a V6 that has a real bad hunting problem when idling.
when the engine is cold it runs ok soon as it heats up it runs like it has a real lumpy cam and hunts.
I have checked for any vacuum leaks , spark plugs and leads ,throttle intake etc , but cant find any faults
Any suggestions ?

try cleaning the idle air control valve
My Audi is experiencing the same problem at this point. The check engine codes indicates rough idle. Making me believe it to be a dirty or dysfunctional IAC. I would try removing and cleaning it first. There is an AW tech article about cleaning the IACV. Take a look at that.
