For those 12V owners seeking stronger/longer lived tranny mounts...

I *may* have stumbled on just the ticket for us today.
In the pic (right) is an 01 Audi All Road transmission mount. It's completely encased in alloy and uses a bolt thru the top that pulls the upper/lower halves together. It also uses what appears to be a woven Kevlar cable to keep the two halves from hyper-extending beyond the rubber compliance.
I stumbled on this by accident today while Champagne was doing a RS4 clutch in an 01 All Road. Being the always-curious-and-looking-for-something-better sort I was fascinated by the apparent "heavy dutiness" of these compared to the ones in our cars.
The old mount on left in pic is a B4 chassis mount but my B4 now has B5 mounts installed in place of the originals. But now it appears that the All Road may fit both chassis's without modification. In fact I felt so strongly that it could bolt right in I ordered 2 that will be here tomorrow morning. They are an OEM piece so there "may" be some slight variations between the one in this pic. But I "have" to know for sure. I cant see or visualize one reason in the world why this would not bolt right in tho I do think a new, shorter center bolt with a 3-4mm thick washer will be required with each mount.
Either way I always felt bad I didnt come thru with a urethane mount for you guys so "maybe" I've redeemed myself on that one and maybe even found a more sophisticated/refined alternative. Part # for this item is 4B0 399 151 M and OEM sugg retail from WorldPac is $66 and change each. Same part number regardless if left or right. I'll repost new pics tomorrow night and let everyone know if I encounter any snags during installation which I'll try to accomplish this week. I'll also explain what needs to be bought or done differently if these require anything more than a stock replacement.
If I had to venture a guess I would say this mount is on the order of at LEAST 3 times stronger and perhaps as much as 5 times stronger. This is a SERIOUS transmission mount!
Now if it'll just install without a hitch!

you're right, the first "1" looks like a "7" it is 151M...
and it may be a "superceeded" version for 99+ Audis but it's certainly not the ones used on our '00 B5 Twin turbo NeuS4 race car. That one is the same as the 96/97 A4 which is the one I'm using on my 90 Sport Quattro now. These are clearly head & shoulders more substantial than those.
