Default APR BiPipe or samco tb boot?

Curious what all you are preferring for a fix of the ol' throttle body elbow... Thoughts? Thanks!

Default I've heard of some bad castings on the APR solution, so my personal recommendation

is the Samco. I have one on my car along with some Breeze CT clamps and have had zero issues.

Default quickaudi is right, have been some in past w/issues- but I've used it 3+ yrs and recommend it

once you have one you never have to replace another TBB again. On the flip side, a little more labor intensive for install and if you decide to use the phenolic spacers between heads & intake manifold it requires a little finesse

FWIW, you could talk to APR and see if they will cover labor for RnR if you should happen to get a defective bi-pipe

http ://vastperformance.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=27&products_id=29</a

Default I've been running the APR BiPipe for about 6 months now - it works great. A bit of a

pain to install (not hard, just a tight fit), but once in it is bulletproof. And the kit was complete, with all blots, washers, gaskets, etc. Very good quality.

I just installed an APR bipipe today, and am NOT impressed with the fit at all. I literally had to stretch the intercooler to bipipe hoses in a way that I don't think will stay for long.

Anyone else have this problem, and a solution?

there is no "solution"

that's how it is set up to be

it's even worse if you have intake spacers

I'd suggest some Breeze constant torque clamps to really clamp down on the hoses
