Cracked my FPR Line... oops!
2003 Allroad 2.7t
Well, it's pretty simple. I cracked the very brittle vacuum line to my fuel pressure regulator while "Sea-Foaming" my engine today. I guess it's time to replace some vacuum lines! My question is whether or not this needs to be replaced immediately or not? The line is mostly in tact, but I felt & heard the line crack in my finger tips as I was moving it back to reconnect it to the FPR. The car runs fine, but what can I expect if I don't replace it soon?
FYI, the line is original (woven fabric wrap) from the factory & has never been replaced. I'm currently at about 93k miles & take very good care of the car otherwise. I'd like to see another 100k or so!!! (fingers crossed)
Any advise from some of you experts would be great! Thanks in advance.
