engine problems
hey.
so i have a 2001.5 s4 and im having a weird problem. under 2500 rpms my traction control and abs lights come on and the car runs very bad. no rpm stability and a noticable misfire. if i rev over 3k for a few seconds lights go away and engine feels good but when i go back to idle everything goes bad again. i have access to all the diag equip so i can scan for anything just kinda at a stand still..
engine codes
maf sensor high input
egt short to ground
misfire codes
brake system codes
error msg from ecu
read codes from ecu
and i had a tvcs code but i think i cleared that up with a throttle adapt. any help would be huge!!

I would try a known good MAF sensor in your car or try your MAF sensor in another 2.7l engined car.
I have seen a number of running and starting problem with defective MAF sensors even soetimes without DTCs with your car does have.
