Low Oil Pressure Light
My low oil pressure light has been coming on and shutting off intermittently. It only happens when the outside temp is in the upper 90's, and comes on when at idle. It turns off when I accelerate. I checked the oil and it is in the recommended range. I am running 0W-20 as it was the oil the dealership I use has been using. I was wondering if the ultra low viscosity of the hot oil is too thin for the oil pump to pick up? Any thoughts?
