Default For 2.7T - 078 115 561 J = Audi part number (this is a Mann W930/21 filter) if you want to order it

from a web-based parts supplier. If you search for part number using the audi number, the correct Mann filter will show up (it just won't have the Audi 4-rings logo on it, but the W930/21 is the identical filter that the factory puts on). Mahle also makes an OEM equivalent filter, but the Mann part number has recently changed (you can find the correct one on carmadillo.com under the 2001 S4 category).

The 561G may not have the same pressure relief rating as the 561J, but I am not familiar with the specs on the "G" filter you mention.

Default And the Mahle = OC 485 (this is the new filter application for the VAG 078115561J) there is a

different number that has been quoted on these forums, but that was an older application for the Mahle. Now the OEM part number cross reference is printed right on the box of the OC 485.
