Default P0171 - P0174 - P0300

P0171 - P0174 - P0300

Hello, i get these codes when I scan the ECU

171 & 174 right and left bank low density
300 random misfires

the only two things i can think of which changed recently in the car configuration are that I added a small quantity of fuel additive (Lucas) to clean the injectors and fuel system, or there is an issue with the APR ECU upgrade stage 1 (318hp chipped with 93 octane). However I get the codes when the program is running stock mode...

I also replaced the sparkplugs with NGK but i don't this has anything to do with 171 and 174

any clues?

car is 01 allroad 2.7tt Tip (APR ECU but otherwise the rest is stock)

Thanks in advance!

i'm going to get the hex-can interface... thanks...

in the meantime any ideas what the problem is? Bad PCV? vaccuum leak?

on both sides, and that would cause random misfires?

cheers,

yeah i have a generic obd2 reader that gave me the codes but no way to read any blocks. I just bought the hex-can interface form a R-T distributor so I am awaiting delivery by Monday.

In the meantime I have tighten all vaccuum hose connections with new clamps, and went at a scrap yard and got a used MAF sensor from a '02 Allroad. I will replace it and see if that solves my problem....

i have not replaced the MAF yet but based on your experience does this point to a MAF issue?

could very well point to a MAF issue

what happens when you clear them - which ones come back?
