Symptoms of a bad diverter valve???
Hello,
My S4 seems to have lost power in higher rpm ranges but still has good torque. While the motor is idling, one of the diverter valves seems to be vibrating while the other one is still.
I feel like this suggests that the vibrating one is bad. I have an APR ECU upgrade and have heard that this shortens the life of the DVs.
Since buying the car with 87000 miles I've driven 5000 miles so I wouldn't be surprised that one of them went bad. I know I should probably upgrade to the APR DVs regardless...
VAG-COM also shows the following errors:
16487 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G790) Signal too High
17521 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor; B1, S1: Internal Resistance too High
