Default turbo problems ? help !!

i have a 2001 a6 2.7t . the car bucks alot. i can feather the gas pedal and its not so bad but i got on an up hill climb and lost all power and could hear a sound like it was relieving pressure or something like that. is this the diverter valves, wastegate on the turbo or something else. i tested the diverter valves and one relieves around 3psi and the other at 4.5psi. am i looking in the wrong place or am i on the right track. if anyone could help or shed some light on the subject for me i would most greatful.

Default

check the Y hose in-front of the throttle body. Take a good look at it usually rips from underside.
