Default and why does my samco tbb have to interfere with my front engine cover and the boost sensor?

does anybody else have this problem? can i just cut some off the top?

it will interfere, everyone has the problem, I think you can cut a little off.

Mine did the same thing, and I broke the semicircle clip that attaches to the rubber piece on the intake splitter. I drilled some holes into where that clip used to go, ran a long zip tie through them to make a circle, and tightened it to a circle that could go around the rubber piece. So now, my engine cover doesn't look like a ramp, and is literally pulled down to force fit. Looks 60% less ghetto than the ramp-look.
