Hi guys,

I recently bought a Audi A4 with the 3.0 TFSI motor. Super rare where i am from where i am and got it at 72000Kms, but at 75'000kms the piston rings have blown in cylinder 4 causing scoring that no one in my region is able to fix.

Essentially my car is at the mechanic, disassembled and has been for the past month as we try source another block to match my engine code.

Has anyone blow or damaged there bores beyond repair? Has anyone sleeved a 3.0 TFSI? See the issues i'm having is that the block is aluminium and the bores are treated. I've attached photos ect.

What do I do beside commit RIP
