Default The Giac chip and a slip on Vibrant Muffler were my first two mods. I

have to say I really didn't notice any results, but that's just me. My advice is save your money, as painful as that might be, and keep an eye out for a used S.C.

I did Upsolute chip on wifes A4 3.0 maybe a hair more power.Fuel mileage up about 2-3 mpg. It runs great... but it did before chip also.Chip was most effective on my Turbo!

Default I did their engine and tip-chip (since I have a tiptronic) along with a Stage 3 MAF upgrade

I did their engine and tip-chip (since I have a tiptronic) along with a Stage 3 MAF upgrade.

I'd have to say the 3 together made my 99.5 2.8 feel a lot more sporting. Maybe a 5-10hp increase but that is the butt-dyno number, not official.

I also saw better MPG results, so it was worth it in my book for drive-ability and efficiency gains. We also have 93 octane gas where I live and likes it more than 91.

Default Don't bother. I just removed mine after the solder failed and felt no difference.

I am actually getting better gas mileage now too.

Put your money into a good cat-back exhaust instead if you don't already have one. i have a Brullen system and love it.

Default It's a MAF that was developed for the 12v but some early 30v have a compatible unit.

Check the 12v forums (search for Mance and S3 MAF) for the part numbers that work and to see the difference. Mine is a bored out MAF with the screen removed and a velocity stack inside the airbox.
