I have a 05 A6 4.2 with some ac issues. I live in phoenix arizona so if i cant fix this issue im just honna sell the thing. The ac goes from cold temps to hot. And fluctuates back and forth.

So far ive had it evact and recharge and done a leak test on it
ALL GOOD
Mechanic says the ac clutch works fine
Changed the Heater control valve (took the old one apart and the chrome valves were corroded)
And still nothing.

I also read that it might be the blend door actuator so i ordered that as well. If any one can give me some insight on what it could be or possible fixes that would be awsome.

Do a VAG Scan. I had a G89 sensor failure inside passenger dash on my S4 that caused AC to blow hot air until sensor replaced, along with ambient air temp sensor. There were codes present so it was obvious in my case what needed to be done.
