Has anyone else had problems with the heater fan squealing? I have a 2001 A6 4.2L. It only seems to happen with the heater and only on very low speeds of maybe 1 or 2 bars on the display but the noise is driving me nuts! How hard would it be to remove the assembly and replace the bearings etc???

yep me too...i think its too costly for a new motor...some said put some grease on the motor...however i dont have the tools to do such.
