Default 2013 A4 iPhone adapter

Hi,
New to this forum and this is likely the wrong thread to ask this question in - but I have a 2013 A4 and would like to know how to connect my iPhone 11. I know I need an adapter but I'm hoping someone can tell me which one and where to find it. And / or point me in the direction of the proper thread!

Thank you,
Pk

It's actually pretty easy depending on how much you want to do. You should have bluetooth in the car that should be a direct connect. But if you've got a 30-pin in the glove box, then you can go one of 2 ways: 1) by an adapter that converts 30pin-lightning; or 2) by a new MMI cable that fits your model that has a lightning at the other end. If you don't have BT and want it, there's a nifty device that works great with an existing 30pin connection. It's the Bovee 1000 Wireless Bluetooth device. It works really nicely with the MMI in the car. I used in my 2009 A4 Avant (aka allroad) and worked like a charm.

Is the Bovee 1000 the most up to date technology available for this? I see its been around for a while so just wondering if this will give me the best connection/quality. Also wondering if its worth the $150 price tag.

You mean $90? https://www.viseeousa.com/
There's not really been anything new in Bluetooth for the Bovee to need updating, no?

Just wondering because I know there are different versions of bluetooth. Also its like 160+ after shipping and duties to Canada. Price for living up north...

https://www.pcmag.com/encyclopedia/t...tooth-versions
I pretty clear listing of Bluetooth version history.

viseeousa does not provide any technical clarity of their products, but viseeointernational does specify the Tune2Air as "Bluetooth V2.0+EDR compliant". So yeah, be nice if there was a newer version implementing at least BT 4.1, but is it really necessary?
The international site also specifies A2DP profile, but that's a given. It does not specify the codec(s) supported.

Is there an alternative AMI (Audi Music Interface) to Bluetooth device out there? Not that I know of, at least not that I would consider over just getting a Bovee 1000 (I already have the AMI to 30-pin cable). But you could email them and ask what BT version the currently shipping products implement, as well as which A2DP codecs are supported.

$150+, damn, that's a lot. Is that also the case if you buy it from their Amazon store?
Another product out there, maybe lower cost if you look around for how to source it - https://audistream2air.com/collectio...da-and-vw-3gen
