wow just looked at their videos, I thought such a project would be fun but looks like its a real headache... they don't even show us the end result lol. project probably abandoned...

The S3/R engine is an EA888 power class 3 engine, versus the power class 2 engine that is the 248/261 build. Haven't seen an SSP discussing the power class 3 for the Gen3 evo or Gen4 era units. But SSP 606 covers the original Gen3. The cylinder head metal is different, etc on top of the obvious.

They did finish it. Big job - basically strip the allroad and put everything from the S4 into it. Now that the C8 allroad and RS6 are officially available in North America, it really isn't worth it. Unless, of course, it's something you have to have.
