Here it is, part numbers for the elusive OEM tow hitch. They sell for around €500 here in europe (I'm in the UK now) and would not be cheap to ship over.

@breadbooze, thanks for posting the diagram. I was hoping to buy a hitch receiver to mount a bike rack, but it doesn't look like this one would be compatible with the bike racks that slide into a tow hitch receiver.

Curt makes a hitch receiver.

CURT Manufacturing - CURT Class 1 Trailer Hitch #11448

The allroad isn't listed but the mounting points are the same.

There might not have been a way to make this a dealer installed option, as it was with previous Allroads before being discontinued a few years ago, and Audi decided to keep the number of permutations down to increase the number of cars sold out of inventory.

I can't tell from the image, but it's probably like
in which case you can either get a whole bike rack that undermounts, (I think westfalia makes these) or one that attaches to the ball (thule makes these too). I've no personal experience with them, but various forum threads suggest that https://www.pfjones.co.uk/ will ship to the US and have quite an inventory of parts

I just picked up a new Premium Plus allroad on Monday and will be installing the Draw-tite class 1 hitch Item # DT24950 this weekend. I just need a hitch that can carry a couple of mountain bikes. The hitch arrives tomorrow so I am hoping it fits well and solves my problem.

Just saw this hidden tow hitch on the Volvo V90 Cross Country. Wow. Wish the Allroad had something like this. See it at 5:54.

I haven't had time to look around the dealerships in the UK for a avant/allroad fitted with an OE hitch, but I did run across this video a while ago and forgot about it until now.

granted it's for the highly desirable 3.0 TDI variety, though we're more focused on the hitch here.

I'm really curious about this too, for mountain bikes.
