Default "24mm 12 point socket" or "19mm 12 point socket" for crankshaft bolt ...I'm confuse!!!

I read tech section: one stated "24mm 12 point socket" the other "19mm 12 point socket"

Which one should I buy for 99.5 V6 2.8 30V

Thanks

Default IIRC the 1.8T is smaller and the 2.8 is bigger. I know the AWM I just did was smaller.

And memory tells me the recent 2.8 timing belt I did the crank bolt was pretty damn big.

Default Not sure if you were reading my tech article or not...

...but if you were, it applies to the 1.8T only.

Default what do you say about this.....

Author: Dan Larson 1999 2.8 https://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng39.shtml

(19mm 12pt for shure)??

"Tools:

Full set of 3/8" drive sockets, 10mm, 13mm, 19mm (12pt) for sure."

and also

"9. Now take your 19mm 12 pt socket and ratchet and turn the crank until the timing mark lines up with the arrow on the shield. This is very important to make sure everything lines up properly."
