I just bought my first Audi (99 A4TQ) and I am anxious to implement an ECU chip, I know nothing of the TIP Chip. I recently read that the TIP chip will decrease times in between manual shifts, but does this mod also affect the car when it is in automatic mode? (I kinda like to keep the car 'normal' when my wife drives....)
There is great debate over what is better with regards to chip changes and there seems to be a few that are more attractive than others - are you happy with your Giacs?
