Default 1.8T downpipe - oem or Bosal
I have to replace the downpipe on my 2001 A4 1.8T because the flex joint is broken and leaking. Does anyone have any opinions on the oem vs the Bosal downpipe? Or is there a better replacement?

Stick with OEM unless you replace the CAT back for more flow.

Take it to a good exhaust shop and have them throw a new flex joint on. I recently did one for a customer - cost them $140 for the part and my time. ($65/hr). Welded it on the car.

Look around for a good exhaust shop. Will save you some cash to just get a flex pipe welded in.
