Default 17" or 18" looks better?

I am deciding on getting new wheels for my 2.8Q, but can't decide on 17" or 18", I have been looking into the Hamman monoblock IIs, MAK Energy, BBS RC, and the A!avantgarde type S... which one do you guys think looks better with 17" or 18"
ps. out of these options, I am more interested in the Hamman, and the MAK Energy type wheels.. 17 or 18?
please give me some comments.. thanks

Default Re: 17" or 18" looks better? Consider these pitfalls: (more)

Kind of depends on your roads, and how much you are willing to sacrifice.
18" will definitely shake up your ride quality, will be significantly heavier (more metal in the rim) and will be more prone to getting bent by potholes.
Wheels are more than an appearance issue...

Default Had 18" on the mustang I just sold.

Could be the Mustang's crappy suspension, but I definately did not like the 18" rims. I had Saleen Speedline Mag rims. 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear.
The tires were too pricey, the ride quality suffered. Even in the light weight metal they were too heavy.
If it is just for looks go for 18's if you plan on actually driving the car go for 17's
