That's right folks. I recently gave away the old Volvo and took on the Audi.
The Volvo (which was a 4-speed manual w/ overdrive) was undeniably faster and a kick to drive in a straight line thanks to an extra half liter displacement and about 20 ft./lbs more of torque (it actually made 10 fewer horsepower than the 2001.5 A4).
I'd much rather have the Audi if I'm called upon to turn (BODYROLL) or drive in anything but sunny weather, though :-).

Saw an 850R this morning...black on black rims...there is some Power there
Now when the S60R comes out I think it's going to give the Audi's a run for their money. And if you've seen the prototype sketches for the C60R you might agree that it looks pretty sweet.
My coworker has a brand new 02 S60 2.4T. It's very nice and I dare say the interior gives the A4 a real run for the money. The seats - fuggedddd about it....Volvo seats are just about the most comfortable in the industry.
Overall the car is a little higher in luxury (compared to my 01.5 1.8T), but lower in Sport. For me the sportyness wins any day.
