2000 A4 vs 2002 C240
My 2000 A4 1.8T Tip,Front,Lux,Xenon, has 15,000 trouble free miles.
My best friends 2002 C240 was bought back my MBUSA yesterday as it had been in the shop for numerous repairs for numerous problems since it was purchased in Oct 2002.
The MB had problems with the ESP, Emergency Brake Assist, Switl Marks, Stalling, Sudden Surges, Sunroof that would not close, and Xenon lights going out and then coming back on!

People have the same stories to say about Audi, BMW, Lexus, etc.
Everyone puts out lemons, everyone pouts out cars that are not lemons, but just are riddled with problems.
I do recall a website about MB where people post their problems about their MB and it's got a pretty substancial # of gripes. Maybe MB is more prone.
