I'm replacing my 1998 A4 in March 2001. Does anyone have spec's or pictures of the 2001 A4?

I was led to believe there would be a new design but I can't find any information.

My local dealer doesn't have an answer. They indicated that the new design may be released in 2001 as a 2002 model. They have no information on the 2001 or 2002 models.

Can anyone help clear this up?

As for the 2002 model, no one here knows anything.. its all speculation.. we will find out what it will look like in october.. ive read there will be an engine upgrade for the 2.8-> 3.0 which will produce 220hp (definitly needed).. my suggestion, wait till audi releases *their* own pics of the 2002 model and either wait for it to arrive (if you like the new look) or buy the 2001 model.. i truthfuly think that none of us will be disappointed, but thats what i think.. i hope that helped you some..<p>John

if you will be getting a car in March you might as well wait 3-4 more months- if u can- and get the B6 (new A4)....

Glad I bought a 2000 MY. The new style is sterile and looks like a blending between the Passat and an A6 with a shorter front end and rounded smooth features. It's ugly as hell. I'm going to mod my A4, and then switch to BMW 10 years down, if they don't get their styling act together by then.
