Default APR 93 octane software...

214 hp, chipped the car at 45k, and now have 111k. Its a necessity to run 93 octane fuel with this software though. I believe it ran $499 plus $100 labor to install.. they had to solder the chip in place, its not a plug in style.

Default Re: a lot depends on how the previous owner treated it, what oil he used and how often he changed it

Just trying to help.

Cars come and go, but the knowledge stays.

just starting to die, only boosting to 13 psi, and I hear the faint sound of the dentist dril. BT, here I come.

Default change the topic when you reply

as for the turbo cars, they are more fun to drive imo.

turbo swap isnt that bad in case the turbo goes. vacuum lines can be a hassle
check out the faq for a buyers guide.

Default Totally depends on the previous owner. Some people have them go at 45k

others are at 200k and still on the original turbo. Mine has been making noise for the past 40k miles but its still running just fine with 172k miles on it

Default wastegate flap was weak from all of the on/off throttle on the track with 21psi of boost. internals

were still good and it's on some 2000 silver A4 out there in the used car market.

ran fine under stock boost.
