2006 A4 Spied. Gack....the trapezoid is here!
Don't know if this has posted already. From the Detroit News (clicky image for article)...

I think the trapezoid grill looks much better on the A6 or maybe I just need to learn to like it. For some reason, this shot of the A4 reminds me of, GASP, a Catera!
I will be definitely be keeping my 2001.5 S4. I hope the ground-up A4 redesign in 2008 (estimated) is better.

It was at the NYIAS months ago, and I actually saw one today in a Santorin-like color. (edit)
The color was nice, the car was blah. I spotted the grill from about 9 miles away. Scary.
Edit: Excuse me...thought that was an A6. Looks the same. Barf barf barf.

I think BMW and Audi are *trying* to chase away their customers.
Fortunately for me...that's good, because there is nothing out there (in the new car market) that inspires me enough to sell my car and spend more money. Well, nothing that I could afford.

amen... even the more expensive ones suck too... from C&D this month.. the coupe comparo
the bently looks like azz... unfortunatley so does the Ferarri... the benz looks dated
my buddy has a theory that he will never own a truck made after 1987...
I might not ever want a car built after 02 at this rate ( 02 S4 Avant)
and the bimmers, whom used to be the standard that everyone else was judged by are now becoming the ultimate driving simulator!

heh... had a lot of time to sit on the plane a read...
was also noticing that for an american car mag, almost all of the cars featured had Euro plates!
guess I was more concious of it since I was heading to a country with Euro plates
