Default is 4 g/s at idle normal for a 2000 a4 1.8t?
I'm trying to figure out if I need a new maf. CMH...what is block 032?

Max was 106 g/s at WOT.

4g/s is pretty damn high... i avg 2.8 if the car is warm was the 4g/s with a cold engine?

Default 106 seems low
I've gotten upwards of 170+ at WOT in third gear - what gears did u test in??

4 g/s is normal for idle, spec is between 1.5 and 4.

Default there is a idle MAF performance test in the cd bently manual.

Default also, at wot max reading on the maf was 174 in cool weather, high 160's is max.
x chip 2001.

Default 4 g/s is pretty good
Is the car chipped, if so the 106 g/s is much too low if that is a 3rd gear pull.

Default i have a giac chip. 106 was at wot in 3rd or 4th....
but it didn't get any higher than 106.

4 g/s was warm.

So i should be getting around 170?

would you guys say it's time for a new maf?

Default Well you should be around 140+ easy running 1.1 bar of boost.
so I would have to say it must be your maf sensor that is going bad.


Do you know how much boost your car is making at this time?
