9.11.01 T-shirt update...I need your feedback!
AudiWorlders:
I'm sitting here with a BIG box of 9.11.01 T-shirts right beside me. They took about 2 weeks to produce (as I had anticipated). Unfortunately, there's a little problem...
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/11512/tshirtonly.jpg">
My cretan shirt guy printed them incorrectly. So instead of having the graphic smaller and on the left breast, the graphic is now larger and dead-center on the chest. Ironically, this is the same T-shirt guy who initially suggested to print the image on the left breast, and then he goes and botches it. Total moron.
Anyway...here are the options in case you have a shirt(s) on order:
1) If you are OK with the shirt as-is, I will send it to you TOMORROW. You should have it in your hands by the end of the week.
2) If you are NOT OK with the shirt and would rather have the initial proposed design, I will be happy to print one for you. But it won't ship until Friday at the very earliest, and most likely not until the beginning of next week.
Still, here are a few thoughts:
1) The shirts still look REALLY good. I'm wearing one right now. The print is great and the shirt is very comfortable. In terms of quality, they're top notch.
2) The people at work are going ga-ga over the shirt. I think that it makes a bolder, prouder statement than the other one would. And people seem to love it.
3) Keep in mind that this was done for charity. My shirt printer has agreed to take these things back and try selling them himself if people won't accept them. But that seems like a total waste. Plus, he's just going to make more money off of this deal if he sells them himself and I'd hate to see anybody's hard-earned going into that dufus' hands.
4) I WILL NOT SELL THESE SHIRTS AT A REDUCED COST. I have already written a check to the Red Cross, and I am not willing to take money out of our donation just because a graphic on a T-shirt is too big & in the wrong spot. They cost what they cost, and that's the way it is.
I am REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEALY sorry about this. I never saw it coming, especially since the guy that screwed them up is the same guy who suggested to print them the way they appear on the site.
If you ordered a shirt, please either post up here with your full name (that's the way I have the orders organized) and whether you want the shirt as it appears or if you'd rather have the original design. If you'd rather not post up here, please send me an e-mail. But get back to me ASAP so I can order the appropriate number of the original version, if necessary.
Thanks to all who ordered one and hopefully we can come to a resolution that each individual person can be happy with.
Justin

Click on my sig...
it will take you to the online ordering page. That's all you gotta do, bro!
But I'll have to wait and see how this plays out. I might have TONS of extras, or I might have NONE. I'll have a better feel in a day or two. But go ahead and place an order whenever you want to. I made about a dozen extras, so I'm sure I can hook you up with one.
