'96 A4 CD CHANGER
#6
Re: Delta unit - 8 pin Concert - 13 pin
Early U.S. A4s ('96 - '98.5) have the Delta headunits (8-pin). If u wanna add a CD-chnager, u must buy the OEM one, which cost around $500. There's no aftermarket adaptor / CD-changer for the Delta unit, although several companies claimed that they were working on it.
'98.5 - '99.5 U.S. A4s use the Concert headunits (13-pin), which can also be found on pre-'02 TTs. There's an aftermarket adaptor u can buy to use w/ the Panasonic CD-changer (DP601, DP610, DP801 or DP810).
All newer A4s in the U.S. have the Symphony headunits. Just like the Concert unit, u can get an adaptor to work w/ a Panasonic CD-changer also.
