96 A4 owners
Does anyone own a modified 96 A4 Quattro? What did you so to it and how doe sit run. One other thing does anyone have any ideas for the power ban in a 96 A4 5spd

a very simple and free mod you can do is called the swisscheesed-airbox
It results in a much crisper throttle responce, as well as an awesome sound. It growls above 2.5-3k rpms and sounds much better. The additional air could also raise the mpg slightly as well.
i wish i had the link to the procedure, but if you know the basics of removal and generally how to basically take the airbox out it is easy. But once the airbox is out, generally you just need to drill some holes into the bottom of the box (pre-filter) with a doorknob drilling drill bit. do a search for it and ill see if i cna find any info for you as well. feel free to email me if you decide to do it and need help!

thanx its already been done but i ony put 3 holes do you think that is enough or do i need more?

yeah you should drill some more, the more air the better.
yeah im soo tempted to do the tdl stuff but i wont have the car for the next few years due to college, i guess thats my 'anti-mod' =)
