anyone notice that the 96 trunk lid looks more european than the 97+ models. the license plate area is stretched wider. i like it a lot better. it makes the tail look wider and lower.

my service writer got me a great deal on a new one from Audi. just $288. comes ready to paint.

has anyone noticed?

97+ backend looks too much like the Accord's.

I noticed it too and like the old look better. I like the old side markers too, not the 99.5+ ones.

i agree. i have the little side marker, i like that a lot better too.

If YOU like it and can afford it, it's worth it to YOU...that's all that matters

Like Andy said, if you can afford it. Personally I'd deal with it and spend the $ on something else.
