99.5 Black Avant 1.8qm
After posting earlier about car value I found a good deal on the car I would get if I had to get something else and sell my current A4.
At the top of my list seems to be a 99.5 avant since 2000-01 cost more, and 99 didnt have the new changes. Black is first choice, silver second, all else no go. I';ve had santorin it looks sweet but tough with matching and all.
It has 72k miles, I called up to get detailed info. It is everythign I'm looking for, althogh I've never liked stock avants a simple tint job will help a little. They are asking $13,900 which will include them doing the timing belt and all those other necessary repairs. May even be willing to work them down a couple hundred more. Good deal or is there better out there?
On a side note found a 2001 silver 1.8 with 48k miles for 18000, and a black 99 (pre 99.5) with 81k miles for 13k.... again most interested in the 99.5 black for just about 14k

I think if they are willing to do the t-belt and maintence stuff...
that it is a good deal. A tint job on that car will make a HUGE difference.

Check out the Chicago Tribune website...it should be on there...
I don't get the paper at my house but when I was somewhere yesterday I noticed it...thought it was a good deal...
