99.5 ECU removal is a bit different than earlier years. (longish)
<br>Raise the hood, remove the caps on the wipers with a little flat screwdriver and remove the nuts. Lift the wipers off the studs. Turn the phillips head screws that are in the windshield molding, and gently lift the plastic panel that covers the ECU up and away. Then you can access the ECU weathertight box and remove as earlier years. See Wetterauer removal instructions. Simple, but be patient and gentle.

To get to the ECU...do you have to take off the wipers to remove the rain guard or whatever that is?
