It would probably be close enough to depend on the driver.. more..
Pretty certain most chips give the A4 more torque, but it's a heavier (not by much) car. For something like stoplight racing, I think a lot would depend on the skill of launch.

I agree...but I think the Audi might have it by a bit....
Im not nockin on the VTEC (used to drive an acura) but Ive whomped on an SI (not whomped but still won) and it is rated at 180hp with the vtec...I think the Audi would have it cuz of the Vtec curve in the middle of the powerband kinda luls the engine power

A4 will loose.... I just sold my supercharged 99 Honda Prelude SH.. (more)
But before it was supercharged I had raced 1.8's with chips and exhaust and I won.. the prelude is a little lighter and once you have it in vtec in first gear and you know how to shift.. then its all over.. cause you stay in the vtec mode throughout all gears.. I love my 2.8 but I do miss the prelude..
