A4 Arm Rest (Don't flame I looked in the FAQ) more..
I have a 97 1.8TQMS w/ sport seats. I was looking into adding an armrest but Clair's quoted me close to $400 US for two parts. What are these two parts and do I need both of them? Is one part a modified center console? The cover part is $90 and the other part is $285. Anyone out there know of a junked A4 willing to sacrifice the armrest? Huh?

Yes, you need those two parts, when I first purchased my 97 A4, I bought the parts from the dealer, it cost me about 450, I did installed myself. It is kind of difficult to do, you have to cut or trim the rear bottom center console(close to the rear astray, infact is just infront of the rear astray),also, before you can trim the console, you have to take it apart. it took me about two to three hours to have it done myself. after the trim job, the rest is straight forward. good luck.
