I always thought valeo made oem euro A4 headlight and Us headlights.
I bought some S4 euro headlights, they were valeo. Stock xenon oem a4 headlights are made by valeo also My 2000. audi

My opinion...
DEPO product is of lower quality than OEM.
Valeo and Bosch are OEM vendors for both USA and Euro headlights.
You can find DEPO A4 headlight products here:

Do a search on Procarparts and you will find many stories of poor quality parts.

Only the later ones are made by Valeo, the 2 piece ones are made by Bosch...
The 2 piece projectors for the S4 were made by Valeo IIRC, the 2 piece H7 reflector lights were made by Bosch. I am not sure who made the 2 piece H4 lights, could be Hella, or Bosch. I don't think Valeo was doing a lot for VAG back then..
