Default A4 problem.....

On my was home from work I was at 1/2 throttle (maybe 15lbs of boost) when I felt a surge and quickly let off the gas. When I pushed the gas again I got no boost....just blug-blug-blug-blug. Im going to put her on ramps a little later but wanted to give you guys a heads up first. I hooked up VAG and saw these codes...
Fuel Trim: Bank 1 system too lean
Mass airflow sensor: Signal too low

Now, I dont beleive these codes have anything to do with my first issue. I would assume the lean code is from a vac leak? And the MAF code might be from the maf coming unplugged...because as soon as I cleared the code it was right back again. When I T28'd her...I put in a brand new MAF...so I dont think it **** itself that quickly.
When I got home I gave it some gas while in neutral...RPM's go up until Im at 0 boost....then "shudder....glug-glug-glug". The IC to throttle body hose is still attached...but I'll have to wait to see the others. Ideas?

Did you check the MAF wiring? Does the car stutter when shaking the wiring?

Didnt even look yet...too hungry/thirsty/tired. Will check when I re-energize.

you could prolly monitor block 002 while making it glug-glug-glug and see if the reading disappears?

Default had a similar problem..rev - no boost - glug glug - The main hose popped off the intake mani..

and the next time, the main line to the intercooler popped off the turbo. Could have been just a loose hose clamp somewhere on the intercooler. Just first check the most predictable areas. Does the car want to stall out?

Default Thinking about it some more... ECU will substitute MAF value if it's not available, so he still

should run decently (not the best, of course) if MAF is disconnected.

Unless that substitute value comes not from the Dahlback but from the stock programming (if it's retained in some form) that doesn't compensate for the T28 air, resulting in lean condition.

I'm just thinking aloud here.

Thanks for ginxing me Digi-alex! Broke off with no room to splice/solder. Now what?
