A4 problems?
I just bought a 1998 A4 this Saturday....tickled pink, maybe.
It seems to be in danger of over heating. It is not in the red or anything. Just one notch over the center.
Now I am crossing my fingers someone tells me this is normal.

My 99 V6 climbs up to 90C, and doesn't move. But when it first gets to 90C, the temp guage is still moving toward it's spot in the middle. So I've never trusted or understood that thing completely.

After further investigation:
I drove this morning about 20 miles when it was 83 degrees outside. Stayed in the middle.
This afternoon I drove 10 miles when it was 103 degrees outside. It moved.
