About cleaning and Detailing
Ok, im new to all this... Ive probably waxed my car once in the last 3 years, though i was it frequently. Seeing as how I am an amature at this, I have a bunch of questions. What is the best stuff to use on the interior and wheels? Best wax/glaze/compound?? Best soap?? Best applicator for any of the above?? Any guidence is great.
Thx

Here's what I like
Wash - Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash
Cleaner - Meguiar's Paint Cleaner
Polish - Currently using Meguiar's Deep Crystal Polish, but I'm gonna try 3M Imperial Hand Glaze because it gets great reviews here.
Wax - Meguiar's Gold Class Wax
Wheel cleaner - NONE! If you scrub and scrub and still have brake dust, use P21S. But nearly all crud on the wheels can easily be removed with soap and water.
Tires - Meguiar's Gold Class Endurance
Interior - California Dash Duster (On rare occasions I also use Armor All, although I hear Vinylex is better)
Drying - 100% cotton bath towels
Glass - Stoner's

Re: whats the paint cleaner like?
Works great at cleaning up surface crud. Rub your hand over your car and see if you feel stuff on the paint, most of it will be found on the lower door panels. The paint cleaner removes that stuff well. I don't use it often. Maybe once a year. Then follow it up with a polish/glaze and wax.
